Students perform a bella recital
My saxophone and clarinet students recently performed their socks off in the Spring recital entitled Bella A Cappella. Ten select students, age 8 (!) to 53, performed from the Hite etudes for clarinet and Voxman studies for saxophone, as well as some familiar melodies; Washington Post, Scotland the Brave, and a flamenco.
At left, the students perform a J. Hiller chorale before their solos, as a warm-up. Everyone entertained the 50+ audience wonderfully. They celebrated the successful performance with refreshments while visiting with their fans. The next recital for the students of Grace Notes Music Studio will be in November of this year.
